I went to the MCR concert with my sister and her boyfriend. We left 4 hours early for the venue. We had just had a blizzard so the roads were horrible and we got stuck in traffic for 40 mins. We got to the venue and couldn't t find a place to park. We looked for like 20 mins and finally decided to park in a garage that said that the car would be towed. We walked over and waited inside for about 30 mins. I saw a bunch of guys that had MCR shirts in their pants and jackets trying to sell them for half price. They got kicked out but went outside and kept selling them. A security guard said we had to go outside and make men and women lines. So we had to wait outside for 3 hours in 10 degree weather. I was soooo cold and kept jumping to warm myself up. It was abput 6:45 and they started gettting us ready to go in and the security guards were screaming "BACK IT UP" for ever, they were really pissed. It turned out that if you were inside you would get in first even though they said you had to be outside. So I was really pissed about that grrrrr. So I get in and they searched me..... and let me tell ya they searched me good. They didnt allow cameras what so ever. They wouldnt even let me take the quarters I had in my pocket in. I got in and we ran over to the pit because we wanted to get as close to the stage, but my sister didnt want to shove through people so we just stayed in the middle. Rise Against was playing and I was shoving, pushing, and clawing people in front me. It was awesome shoving guys twice my size (Im 5'1) around. I couldnt see a thing though, so I decided for MCR I would go and sit in the seats. All the good seats were taken though, so I was pretty far away. But MCR was amazing!!! Gerard was hilarious, I did notice though that there wasnt any waycest or frank going crazy.  I was pretty surprised on how fast all the guys could change their clothes.But Gerard did his speech on how they werent an emo band and about how we dont all fit in, but it doesnt matter. He fake cried after mama, ran off like a little girl, pretended to be a ghost and at one point he undid his belt buckle.... aww Very Happy   I ended up buying a shirt and it seems like a dream that I saw them.They said they would come back to Nebraska so Im excited to see them again!!! Dear Everyone,

Now that the dust has settled and we are healing and moving forward, we felt it best to explain to everyone to some degree what has happened to MCR in the past week. There are tons of rumors and allegations floating around and we want to clear it all up for you. We also want to express our gratitude for the concern, care, and understanding all of our fans and friends have shown us in the past week. Here are the facts for you all and please know that none of the injuries sustained were permanent nor intentional and it really proves that sometimes these things happen and every person should truly value what they have.

Last week, while shooting a new video for our new record, 2 of us sustained some damage more than we normally would have. Gerard tore multiple ligaments in his ankle and Bob received a bad burn to the back of his leg. These injuries were sustained on Thursday evening. On Friday morning we drove to San Diego to prepare for our performance at Street Scene that we were very excited about. After seeing doctors, we decided to give it our all and rehearse on Friday night. This proved impossible. The pain was overwhelming and we could not pull through without further injuring ourselves. We hate canceling shows, especially now that we are done recording and just want to play. So there you have it, there were no car wrecks, monster attacks or alien abductions, but there were serious injuries that required this to be the way. We apologize for it coming down so last minute and never wished it to end up that way. We promise to be back in San Diego this year.
